Traveler Information
NITTEC operates a Traffic Operations Center (TOC) 24-hours a day 7-days a week that monitors traffic and informs the public, as well as the member agencies of the Coalition, about traffic situations. The information gathered in the TOC is disseminated to the regional Coalition agencies, local police agencies, media outlets, emergency services, and directly to the public via 1610 AM radio and this website. Whether a slowdown may be caused by severe weather, construction, a public event, or a traffic accident, information regarding transportation issues on the local highways is disseminated through this website.
